brilliant sunshine, mild, temps 10
Another lovely day....but mostly I'm just writing to say Happy Thanksgiving to all of you celebrating today!
As you know, the Canadian Thanksgiving is earlier - in October. But quite similar. Turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes...no parades, though. And no big shopping. Too early for that. But lots of walks and touch football in the autumn leaves.
Enjoy yourselves. As we'll enjoy ourselves today.

Happy Thanksgiving to you, Louise, and to all the posters and readers here.
I am grateful to have a roof over my head and food to eat and a job to go to every day. I am grateful for clean plentiful drinking water and for health insurance. And I am grateful for having found the village of Three Pines, its residents and its creator who is kind and has no idea how thrilled I am to think of her as a friend.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Marjorie from Connecticut
Louise, My friends and I have formed a little book club and your "A Rule Against Murder" is our very first read. I finished it last night and must admit I was surprised. I really enjoyed the book and cannot wait to discuss it with my friends. I am so happy to have met you.

Many thanks on this Thanksgiving Day, and much gratitude for taking us along on your trips. I so much enjoy all the bloggers and relish sharing this space with
everyone.

Dear Louise,
To Marjorie - Amen.
Shelagh
Thanks, Shelagh!
After almost 45 years as a Canadian the two times I miss living in New York are Thanksgiving (and family gatherings) and Spring (which we don't seem to have in Nova Scotia)! Happy Thanksgiving all. I join the group who are so very thankful for your books, Louise. Please do take an electronic free holiday as a reward for all the joy you have given us.

Hi Marjorie, Valeria, Lil, Shelagh, Dana,
How happy I am to know you all. How lucky I am.
I'll definitely take a holiday, but probably later in the month, at Hovey. I actually enjoy writing the blog...communicating with you. It's also a bit like journaling and I'm thinking, one day all this will be over and it would be nice for me to be able to read over what it was like. And remember - the times, and the people. You.
